8 Months and Growing!

Yes, we're super late with this, and he definitely didn't make getting these photos easy lol. The last month was filled with some exciting and fun developments. Here are a couple of the new surprises that occurred during his 7th month.

• Crawling on his hands and knees
• Drinking from a straw
• Call and response
  • Mommy: "Sooo big!"
  • Carter: *Raises both arms in the air*
  • Mommy: "How big is Carter?"
• Mimicking emotions  (he'll cry if another baby starts to cry).
• Pulling to stand easier
• Pushing his push cart with his arms out
• Faking coughs

7 Months and Growing!

This boy likes to get around! He's [army] crawling and enjoys getting into any and every little crevasse, nook and cranky he can wiggle his little body into.

Over the last month he has:

• Increased his babbling, but only when he's feeling social, or getting his diaper changed :)
• Started fighting diaper changes, which requires toys to keep him occupied
• Started throwing balls, it's crude, but he's working on it :)
• Practicing walking whenever he can (of course still while holding hands)
• He's pulling himself up to stand while in his crib (but it's soooo much easier when he's doing it from a seated position)
• Sitting up without help or needing much supervision (30+ min on his own)
